Everything advertised about this fountain is spot on! It’s incredibly easy to set up, use, and refill. Disassembling it for thorough cleaning and reassembling is a breeze. The reservoir is slightly transparent, making it easy to see when it needs a refill.
I tested what happens when the water level gets too low; initially, I noticed a slight change in the sound it makes, and eventually, it shut itself off. Typically, it produces a soft, pleasant waterfall sound that becomes a bit louder as a refill reminder—such a nice feature!
At first, my cats were a bit skeptical, but now they seem quite comfortable with it. I still keep their old water dish out, so I can’t definitively say whether they prefer the fountain or the dish. Personally, I prefer the fountain because it has a filter and doesn’t develop that slimy residue that glass dishes often get after a few days.
